Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Clinician (APC)
Memorial Hermann Emergency Department is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) to join our team in Huntsville, Texas. This position is full time, days and nights. The APC will perform direct patient care under the supervision of the attending physicians, with clinical practice in emergency medicine. The APC must also be able to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary team. The APC will collaborate with the physicians in patient care or work under general supervision on case by case basis. Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Current Texas Licensure
Current DEA licensure
Current National Certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certified
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certified
Advance Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Certified- Preferred
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certified - Required
Nurse Practitioner: Emergency Medicine Certified
Proficient in the use of medical and surgical instruments and equipment required by work.
Minimum Education:
Degree as Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
Minimum Experience:
At least 3-5 years of experience as Emergency Medicine NP/PA
